Philadelphia police investigating pellet gun attack on Woman

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On the evening of Wednesday, May 17, an unknown individual fired several gel-like pellets at a woman standing at 1500 Market Street.

The Central Detective Division is requesting public assistance in identifying the individual and locating the vehicle involved in this incident.

The incident took place at approximately 10:17 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Volkswagen Passat, stopped at a traffic light near the victim. The car was subsequently seen heading south on 15th St. The victim, a 50-year-old woman, was not injured in the attack.

The suspect is described as a light-complexioned black male, aged between 18 and 20.
