Police Launch Investigation into Northeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle connected to a shooting that took place on Monday night at the 3900 Block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast D.C.

Just after 9:30 pm, officers arrived at the location to investigate a shooting report. They found an adult male victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect’s vehicle. If you have any information about this incident or recognize the suspect, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The shooting remains under investigation.
