COLUMBUS, OH – A 40-year-old woman, Cassandra Nichole Franklin, has been charged in connection with the death of a 36-year-old man, Michael Sarratt. On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, Columbus Police officers arrived at the 2000 block of Rankin Ave. following a shooting report. Sarratt was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
On Friday, May 26, 2023, Franklin was arrested in Uniontown, Ohio, extradited to Columbus, and is currently held in the Franklin County Jail.
