Police seeking Brooklyn subway slasher

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public help to locate a suspect connected to an assault incident that took place in Brooklyn.

On Sunday, around 4:15 am, a 46-year-old man engaged in a dispute on a southbound 5 train near the President Street subway station.

The unknown suspect slashed the victim’s face with an object before fleeing onto another southbound train. The victim, transported privately to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Kings County, remains in stable condition. The NYPD released a description of the suspect, who is approximately 18-21 years old, 5’6″ tall, and of medium build.
