Teenager Arrested Following Stabbing Incident in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 15-year-old male was arrested by officers from the 46th Precinct, according to an update provided on Tuesday. The arrest came as a result of an investigation into an assault that occurred on Sunday, around 8:09 PM.

Reports indicate that the male teen was involved in a dispute near Richman Plaza and Matthewson Road with a 16-year-old male. The altercation escalated, resulting in the younger teenager stabbing the other in the right side of the neck. Following the incident, the suspect fled on foot. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of a neck laceration.

The New York City Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any additional information related to this case.
