Utica woman Broke Bottle on Victim’s Head, Police Report

UTICA, NY – On Tuesday, Utica Police responded to an assault report at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center around 5:30 PM. The victim reported being struck in the head with a liquor bottle at a residence on the 500 block of Nichols Street. The bottle shattered, causing injuries to the victim’s head and neck.

Utica Police officers located the scene and detained 28-year-old Halima Mohamed of Utica.

Upon the completion of their investigation, the Criminal Investigations Division charged her with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
