Elderly Man Robbed and Carjacked in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – An 82-year-old man was the victim of a carjacking and robbery in the vicinity of Crotona Parkway and East 179 Street in the Bronx on Sunday, at approximately 3:00 am.

The victim was seated in his vehicle when unknown individuals forcibly removed him from his car and drove off. The victim’s wallet, containing his driver’s license and debit card, was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention at the scene.

The vehicle was later recovered, and the individuals found in possession of the vehicle were described as teenagers.
