BELTSVILLE, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on Thursday. The incident, involving a single motorcycle, took place around 6:05 pm at the intersection of Powder Mill Road and Old Gunpowder Road.
The investigation indicates that the rider lost control and collided with a guardrail. The identity of the deceased rider has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
