GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – A fatal motorcycle crash that occurred at the intersection of Black Horse Pike (Rt. 168) and Brewer Avenue is being investigated by the Gloucester Township Police. On Friday, at around 1:33 pm, police were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

On arrival, officers found the motorcyclist unresponsive in the roadway and began life-saving efforts. Despite the efforts of the officers and the Inspira EMS & Ground Transport, Virtua ALS and Gloucester Twp. Squad 88, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the involved SUV suffered minor injuries and refused medical transport.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Black Horse Pike when an SUV driven by a gold Ford Escape driver pulled out in front of the motorcycle, causing the collision. The investigation is still ongoing.
