SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) officers intervened in an illegal car meet on Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore, on Saturday night, arresting two drivers and issuing a total of 64 summonses for vehicle and traffic violations. The crackdown resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Bay Shore man, who was charged with Unlawful Speed Contest, Sideshows and Races.
His vehicle, a 2019 Dodge Charger 392, was seized. A 24-year-old Huntington Station man was also arrested, charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd Degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration.
