Police arrested Suspect in connection to Queens double shooting, murder

Queens, NY – Detectives from the 113th Precinct in Queens have arrested a suspect in connection to a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday, May 27.

Durran Morgan, 38, of Queens, was arrested and charged on Sunday.

The charges against Morgan include murder, attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm (two counts). Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the charges.

The arrest comes after police responded to a distress call reporting a shooting at 188-10 Pineville Lane on Saturday, May 27, at approximately 9:14 p.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 25-year-old male and a 20-year-old female with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both victims were swiftly transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for urgent medical attention. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old male, identified as Chevaughn Millings, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The 20-year-old female remains in stable condition after receiving treatment.
