Woman killed in Brooklyn fire

FDNY Ambulance on scene to provide medical assistance to victims.

NEW YORK, NY – The FDNY responded to the scene in Brooklyn on Monday, June 5, as a residential fire engulfed a residence located at 738 East 52 Street.

The emergency call was placed at approximately 3:10 a.m., prompting the arrival of police and firefighters from the FDNY.

Upon reaching the scene, firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, successfully bringing the fire under control. During their efforts, officers discovered an unconscious and unresponsive adult female on the second floor of the house.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Fire Marshal has taken charge of the investigation and will work to determine the cause of the fire. As of now, the investigation remains ongoing, and authorities continue to gather information to shed light on the tragic incident.
