Two charged for drive-by shooting of two teens in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Following an ongoing investigation, the New York City Police Department reports the arrest of two individuals in the 46th Precinct on Tuesday. Jesus Delacruz, a 27-year-old from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, was apprehended at 00:30 hours.

He faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Ten minutes later, a 17-year-old male was also arrested, facing similar charges.

Earlier, on Friday, April 14, 2023, three unknown individuals reportedly fired multiple rounds from a grey Hyundai Sonata, wounding two 18-year-old males near 1950 Andrews Avenue.

The victims were taken in stable condition to Saint Barnabas Hospital. They survived the shooting.
