Fatal Shooting Claims the Life of 28-Year-Old in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – 28-year-old Joshua White of D.C. was shot and killed Tuesday evening in Southeast D.C. The incident happened at the 4700 Block of South Capitol Street.

Shortly before 7 pm, officers from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department were in the vicinity of the shooting and responded to the sounds of gunshots. When police arrived at the location, they discovered White suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A vehicle of interest in the gas station incident is a black Honda that was observed leaving the scene. As of now, no further details regarding the suspect are known.
