Moped Riders Sought in another Ride and Snatch Incident in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the New York City Police Department’s 112th Precinct have issued a public appeal for information on two individuals connected to a theft from an elderly woman in Queens.

According to police, on Monday, May 29, at approximately 9:10 pm, two individuals on a black moped approached a 70-year-old woman at the intersection of 108 Street and 68 Avenue.

One of the suspects forcibly took the victim’s purse before fleeing westbound on 108 Street. The victim sustained no injuries during this incident.

The suspects are both male with medium complexions.

The first was last seen in a black sweatshirt, dark pants, and white sneakers. The second was wearing a neon construction vest. Any helpful information should be reported to the authorities.
