Police continue search for suspects who robbed and beat Bronx gas station worker

NEW YORK – Police are continuing their search for four suspects who robbed and beat a gas station attendant in the Bronx.

Two unknown individuals entered the Citgo gas station at 495 East 180 Street on Thursday, May 11, at around 1:30 pm.

A dispute ensued between the individuals and an employee. One of the individuals took money from behind the register.

Outside the store, the employee confronted the individuals about the stolen money. Two additional individuals joined them, and all four proceeded to assault the store employee physically. The assailants then fled eastbound on 188 Street. The employee did not sustain any injuries requiring medical attention.

The New York City Police Department is seeking information from the public regarding this incident.
