Suspect who groped elderly woman in New Lots sought by police

NEW YORK, NY – On Thursday, June 1, at around 9:35 pm, a 63-year-old woman was walking near the intersection of Miller Avenue and New Lots Avenue when an unknown male approached her from the opposite direction.

The male individual hugged her and inappropriately touched her buttocks. He then fled in the eastbound direction along New Lots Avenue. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red head wrap, a red hooded sweatshirt, a black bubble vest, dark blue shorts, white socks, and dark shoes.
