Wall Township Police Charge Therapist for Inappropriate contact

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Tuesday, the Wall Township Police Department arrested and charged Stefan J. Barnes Jr., a 31-year-old Manchester resident, with criminal sexual contact and sexual assault.

The charges stem from an incident reported on May 23, at Massage Heights, located at 2157 State Highway 35 in Wall Township.

A 23-year-old woman attending a massage session, alleged inappropriate contact in the groin area, by Barnes, her therapist, on two separate occasions.

The investigation led by Patrolman David Smithman and Detective Shane Roland resulted in Barnes’ arrest without incident, and subsequent transportation to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
