Police investigating murder of 20-year-old man in Trenton

Trenton, NJ – Early Friday morning, police launched an investigation into a shooting incident that claimed the life of a young man.

At approximately 12:03 AM, officers from the Trenton Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the vicinity of Aspen Alley and Evans Avenue.

They discovered a male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. The wounded individual, identified as 20-year-old Markell Biggs from Trenton, was immediately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for urgent medical attention.

Biggs succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
