Man Arrested on Firearm-Related Charges in Roxbury

BOSTON, MA – On Tuesday, at around 9:00 PM, Boston Police Department’s District B-2 officers arrested David Jones, 50, of Brockton on firearm-related charges.

Following a report of a man with a gun at 35 Colorado Street, Jones was apprehended and handcuffed without incident.

After securing the premises pending a warrant, officers found a Glock 43X with ten rounds of ammunition inside the apartment.

Jones was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition. His arraignment is scheduled at the Dorchester District Court.
