Man Fatally Stabbed in Staten Island Brawl Identified as Baltimore Murder Suspect

New York City – A man who was fatally stabbed during a violent street brawl in Chelsea has been identified as a murder suspect wanted in Baltimore, according to sources familiar with the investigation and an article today published by the New York Post.

The 36-year-old victim was attacked with a knife by another man in the middle of a crosswalk on Friday morning. The incident, captured in a video, took place in broad daylight.

Nisean Graves, a 34-year-old homeless man, has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal encounter. He appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Saturday and was remanded without bail.

According to prosecutor Emily Yonan, video evidence shows Graves initiating the unprovoked confrontation by throwing a punch at the victim. Yonan also mentioned that Graves provided officers with multiple false names after his apprehension.

The altercation between Graves and the victim continued for several minutes until Graves allegedly drew a knife. Prosecutors allege that the victim, who was unarmed, attempted to defend himself by throwing a kick at Graves. However, Graves
