Queens Man Arraigned for Rape at Local Storage Facility

QUEENS, NY – Charles Rowe, a 56-year-old local man, was arraigned on Friday on multiple charges related to sexual assault, robbery, and burglary at a Jamaica storage facility. If convicted, Rowe faces up to 25 years to life in prison.

The charges stem from two violent incidents in March and April, where Rowe allegedly raped and assaulted two women at the facility.

On May 6, DNA evidence from the sexual offense kit collected in the March incident matched a profile of Rowe, leading to his arrest on May 13.
