Stolen Vehicle Investigation Leads to Theft Charge

EAST ORANGE, NJ – A stolen vehicle report filed on January 29th led to the arrest of Samir Shelton, a 28-year-old resident of East Orange.

Officer Rock and Detective Menza collaborated in the investigation, which took place near Virginia Street.

As a result of the investigation, Shelton was arrested on charges of Theft on Friday, and was taken to the Union County Jail awaiting a Superior Court appearance.
