Man shot in head, killed in Trenton

TRENTON, NJ – Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed last night in Trenton.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at Donnelly Homes on Willow Avenue at approximately 8:10 PM.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim identified as Shaquan Brown, 23, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Brown was promptly transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for medical treatment.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly thereafter. Two additional victims were found with gunshot wounds to their legs.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the investigation is still ongoing. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force urges anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
