Police investigating after 55-year-old shot in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A 55-year-old man was found shot on the 800 block of W. Fairmount Avenue in the Western District on Thursday, at approximately 5:55 PM.

Responding officers located the victim who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Western District Shooting detectives are now leading the investigation. The Baltimore Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact their detectives at 410-396-2477. Anonymous tips can also be provided via the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-866-7LOCKUP or online at the Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland website.
