Buffalo Man Charged with Manslaughter Following a Domestic Incident

BUFFALO, NY – Timothy Austin, a 36-year-old man from Buffalo, has been charged with manslaughter in the first degree following a domestic incident.

The Buffalo Police Department announced the arrest on Sunday. Central district officers responded to a stabbing call on the 400 block of Niagara Street.

The victim, 49-year-old Tremaine Mayfield, also of Buffalo, was found suffering from a severe stab wound to the chest. He was transported to ECMC where he succumbed to his injuries.
