Georgetown Man Dies in Crash Near Millsboro

MILLSBORO, DE – Delaware State Police is investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision that occurred early Sunday. A 2014 Ford Mustang, driven by a 26-year-old male from Georgetown, was traveling westbound on Harmons Hill Road when the driver lost control and struck a large metal utility pole.

The driver sustained serious injuries and was later pronounced deceased in the hospital. The male front-seat passenger was treated for minor injuries and released.

Harmons Hill Road remained closed for around 3 hours for investigation and clearance.
