12-year-old boy reported missing in the Bronx

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating Damare Chaplin-Rivers, a 12-year-old male who was reported missing on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Damare resides within the jurisdiction of the 49th Precinct, situated in the Bronx.

According to the report filed with the police, Damare Chaplin-Rivers was last seen leaving his residence at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13.

He is described as a 12-year-old Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 80 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, Damare was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black Croc shoes.

Authorities have provided a photograph of the missing person for reference. The NYPD urges anyone who may have information about Damare’s whereabouts to come forward.
