Buffalo man gets 25 years for murder of Tiara Lott

ERIE COUNTY, NY – Andre C. Whigham, 29, known as “Dro,” of Buffalo, was sentenced to 25 years in prison by Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi on Monday morning.

On the night of January 29, 2021, Whigham strangled his girlfriend, causing her death in an upstairs Gold Street apartment in Buffalo.

The victim, 22-year-old Tiara Lott, was reported missing by her family. Her body was discovered near Wex Avenue in Buffalo on February 13, 2021.

Whigham pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree on February 16, 2023.
