Scratch-Off Lottery Tickets

BALTIMORE, MD- A Maryland Lottery player from Waldorf is celebrating after claiming a $100,000 prize from a scratch-off ticket last week. The lucky winner, a combat veteran, expressed his gratitude and described the win as a miracle while sitting in the Winner’s Circle at the Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

The 39-year-old resident of Charles County plans to utilize his prize money to secure a solid financial future for himself and assist the important individuals in his life. The winning ticket was purchased at Foods Inn located at 12549 Mattawoman Drive in Waldorf.

The 50 Years! Anniversary game scratch-off ticket, which went on sale in February, featured nine $100,000 prizes, six of which are still unclaimed. Additionally, there are two remaining top prizes of $5 million, along with three $50,000 prizes and 53 prizes at the $10,000 level.

The $50 game, Maryland’s first scratch-off at that price point, quickly rose to the top spot on the Maryland Lottery’s list of scratch-off tickets in late February and has continued to maintain its popularity ever since.
