MTA worker shot at with BB gun in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual connected to an assault with a bb gun in the Bronx.

On Tuesday, at around 4:27 pm, an unknown individual discharged at least one round from a BB Gun at an MTA employee who was conducting a safety check from a southbound ‘6’ train at the 138th Street and 3 Avenue station.

The individual fled the scene, and the victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 12-14 years old, weighing around 140-150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage sweatshirt, dark colored pants and sandals, and carrying a backpack.
