Thieves target ATM repairman, $100k lost

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public help in identifying two individuals associated with a burglary in the Bronx.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, around 2:15 PM, a 31-year-old male reported that his vehicle was burglarized while parked and unattended at 2255 White Plains Road. The victim was servicing an ATM machine when one of the suspects broke his vehicle’s rear passenger side window, removing various business documents and approximately $100,000.

The individual then fled in a black SUV driven by another suspect.

No injuries were reported.
