Off-Duty NYC Employee Arrested for DUI and Traffic Violations

NEW YORK CITY — Early Friday morning, at 2:15 a.m., Carlos Graciano, a 39-year-old male employed by the New York City Department of Corrections, was taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Graciano faces multiple charges including Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08% or higher, Driving While Intoxicated, Following Too Closely, Failure to Signal an Unsafe Turn and Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol.

NYPD officers apprehended Graciano in response to observed traffic violations and subsequent suspicion of impaired driving.
