Woman thrown down flight of stairs, assaulted in East New York

BROOKLYN, NY – Police in Brooklyn are investigating after a man threw a woman down a flight of stairs and sexually assaulted her.

The NYPD reported that on Wednesday, June 7 at around 5:30 pm, the victim, a 51-year-old woman, was pushed down a flight of stairs by an unidentified individual, resulting in a fractured eye socket, jaw, and ribs.

The individual then forced the victim to perform a sexual act before fleeing toward Pitkin and Miller Avenue. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
