Bank robbery of the century, robbers hacked vault

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is conducting an investigation into a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday at a ‘Citibank’ branch located at 25-91 Steinway Street.

The report indicates that around 2:50 pm, an unidentified male individual entered the bank, placed an object against an employee’s back, implied possession of a firearm, and demanded cash.

The suspect managed to flee the scene towards 28 Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as wearing a blue baseball cap, light blue shirt, jeans, carrying a black backpack and was seen with a bicycle.
