Buffalo man wharged for murder of Duryll Anderson

BUFFALO, NY – On Sunday, April 2, 2023, 38-year-old Duryll Anderson was fatally shot with an illegal handgun on the 800 block of Bailey Avenue, according to allegations made by Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn.

The accused, 22-year-old Ryan M. Crawford, was arraigned on Friday morning, on charges of Second Degree Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

If found guilty, Crawford faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison. Crawford continues to be held without bail and will return to court for a pre-trial conference on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
