Forks Township Police Apprehend Woman for Assault on Officers

FORKS TOWNSHIP, PA – On last Thursday, Forks Township police officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Lower Way due to a disturbance report. At 14:20 hours, officers made contact with Makayla Blue, a passenger in a vehicle involved in a physical altercation.

Despite instructions from the officers, Blue refused to exit the vehicle and proceeded to strike and scratch officers as they attempted to take her into custody. Several officers sustained injuries from the encounter.

Blue now faces multiple charges, including one count each of Aggravated Assault (F3), Simple Assault (M2), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2), Resisting Arrest (M2), Disorderly Conduct – Engage in Fighting (S), along with two counts of Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact (S). Following the incident, she was transported to the Northampton County Prison.

Forks Township Police continue their investigation into the incident and request anyone with relevant information to contact them.
