Mays Landing, NJ – The Township of Hamilton Police Department has been actively responding to a series of robberies that occurred between March 26, 2023, and June 4, 2023.

The incidents were orchestrated through deceptive car sale advertisements on Facebook Marketplace. Suspects enticed victims to various locations in Mays Landing under the pretense of purchasing vehicles with cash, only to rob them at gunpoint.

In an ongoing investigation, it has been discovered that one of the individuals involved, Develin Grant, has recently posted a similar vehicle for sale in Mays Landing. Additionally, Grant has another vehicle listed for sale in Atlantic City.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Develin Grant, an 18-year-old resident of Mays Landing. Grant faces multiple charges, including 1st Degree Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault by pointing a firearm, Simple Assault, Use of a 17-Year-old or younger to commit criminal offenses, and Possession of a large capacity magazine.
