Multiple Injuries in Late-Night Crash at North Broad Street Bus Stop

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Late on Sunday night, a crash involving two cars occurred along North Broad Street in North Philadelphia, resulting in injuries to several individuals, including pedestrians and occupants of the vehicles. The incident led to the temporary closure of Broad Street at Erie Avenue.

According to accident investigators from the Philadelphia Police Department, the collision involved two cars, causing injuries to four adults and two children who were inside the vehicles at the time of the crash.

Additionally, at least one of the vehicles veered off course and collided with a nearby bus stop, where two pedestrians were waiting for a SEPTA bus. They were also struck as a result of the collision.

The impact of the crash left one of the individuals at the bus stop pinned down, resulting in severe injuries and critical condition, as reported by investigators.

The other seven victims, including the occupants of the vehicles and the second pedestrian, were transported to the hospital with injuries described as minor by investigators.
