56-year-old man shot and killed in the Bronx identified

NYPD crime scene investigative unit.

NEW YORK, NY – On Monday at around 11:45 pm, police received a 911 call reporting a male being shot at 976 Simpson Street, located in the Bronx.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found an unconscious and unresponsive 56-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. EMS took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing.

The deceased individual has been identified as Kevin Roberts, a 56-year-old male residing at 788 Fox Street, Apt#6B in the Bronx.
