HANOVER, MD – Sunday night, officers responded to a vehicle collision between a pickup truck and a dirt bike on Coca-Cola Drive and Maryland Route 100. The pickup truck driver, Brandon James Totten, a 26-year-old Glen Burnie resident, believed the dirt bike to be his stolen property.

He used his truck to pin the bike and its rider against a guardrail.

Upon further investigation, it was found that the dirt bike was stolen but did not belong to Totten. Both Totten and the 16-year-old dirt bike operator were arrested and charged accordingly, with additional charges pending against Totten’s passenger.
