Man Shot and Killed in East Side Cleveland Residence

CLEVELAND, OH – A 37-year-old man was fatally shot after forcefully entering a home on the East side of the city early Monday. The Cleveland Police Department reported that the victim, Timothy Kimbrough of Cleveland, was found upstairs in a house on the 13000 block of Rugby Rd, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police indicated that the 36-year-old male suspect was inside the residence, believed to belong to a woman both men knew, when Kimbrough attempted to break in. The suspect subsequently shot Kimbrough and fled the scene.

Kimbrough’s death has been confirmed by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner. The shooting is currently under investigation.
