Suffolk County police, civilians recognized

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Suffolk County Police Commissioner Rodney K. Harrison, along with officials from the department, recently honored outstanding employees at the Employee of the Month Awards Ceremony in May.

Officer Michael LaFauci, a member of the Anti-Crime Unit in the Sixth Precinct, was recognized as the Crime Fighter of the Month for his bravery and dedication in the line of duty, despite being shot. Officer Michael Livorio, serving in the Sixth Precinct, received the Community Relations Person of the Month award for his exceptional efforts in building positive relationships with the community.

Furthermore, three civilians from the Suffolk County Police Department were also acknowledged for their contributions. Michael Siena, Robert Walsh, and Julio Cortes, from the Facilities Management Section, were honored as the Civilian Employees of the Month for their outstanding performance in their respective roles.
