Teenager Killed in Brooklyn Shooting

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 16-year-old was shot and killed in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred near the teenager’s residence on Marcus Garvey Boulevard. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and police are investigating if the teenager was the intended target.

No arrests have been made.

In another incident on the same day, a 38-year-old man was shot in the foot on Nassau Street near Gold Street in downtown Brooklyn. He is expected to survive.
