High speed chase in Atlantic City ends in arrest

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department has recently charged Majestic Moody, 20, with several drug and weapon offenses following a car stop that took place on Thursday, June 8. The man fled the vehicle, which had been stopped by Officer Adrian Nunez-Santos on the 1400 block of Cedar Court around 11:13 PM.

After a pursuit, Moody was apprehended and found in possession of 90 bags of heroin, 27 grams of cocaine, and 15 grams of methamphetamine. Officer Nunez-Santos and his K9 partner, Narco, then performed a narcotic detection sniff of the vehicle, which resulted in a positive indication. A search warrant was subsequently granted, leading to the discovery of a loaded handgun inside the vehicle.

Moody was located and arrested on Friday, June 17. Charges include multiple counts of possession and intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), resisting arrest, and several weapon-related offenses. Moody is currently being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
