Atlantic City Police arrest Fugitive With Gun

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department reported the arrest of Michael Rodriguez-Noyola, 19, on Thursday. Rodriguez-Noyola was detained while carrying a loaded handgun, having been recognized for two separate assault warrants.

Officer Bayron Zelaya-Chavez identified Rodriguez-Noyola cycling at California and Pacific Avenues. Upon an attempted stop, Rodriguez-Noyola fled onto the Boardwalk, leading to a pursuit. He was eventually apprehended near Sovereign and Pacific Avenues. The encounter resulted in minor injuries for two officers.

Rodriguez-Noyola’s arrest connects him to two assault incidents in Atlantic City. Police had previously responded to calls regarding a woman assaulted at the same residence on April 28 and June 1, leading to charges against him. Rodriguez-Noyola now faces several charges, including unlawful weapon possession, assault, and terroristic threats. He is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
