Bronx Man Sentenced to 83 Years for Killings

BRONX, NY – Bronx resident Dane Richardson, 40, has been recently sentenced to 83 years to life in prison for the 2019 killings of two Bronx men and the attempted murder of a third.

Richardson was found guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, second-degree attempted murder, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On August 18, 2019, Richardson fatally shot Nestor Ventura, 26. Then on November 17, 2019, he shot and killed Stephon Brown, 19, and wounded Rory Brown, 21. Richardson was arrested on December 4, 2019, in possession of crack cocaine.

His sentence was handed down by Bronx Supreme Court Justice Margaret Clancy.
