Driver Arrested in Gloucester Township Following Road Rage Incident

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – A road rage incident escalated into a physical assault on Wednesday, around 7:33 pm. The Gloucester Township Police Department reported that Stephan Mullin, 32, of Deptford, was charged following the incident on Blackwood Clementon Road and Millbridge Apartments.

The initial report suggested that Mullin’s vehicle almost collided with another when merging lanes, which led to a heated pursuit. Once stopped, the complainant approached and kicked Mullin’s car, prompting him to retaliate with a small baseball bat.

Mullin struck the caller several times before leaving the scene.

Mullin later reported to the Gloucester Township Police Department’s headquarters concerning a motor vehicle accident. He was arrested after providing a statement to the police. Mullin faces charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose. He is now held at the Camden County Correctional Facility under New Jersey Bail Reform regulations.
