NYPD investigating series of robberies

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A series of larcenies has caught the attention of the New York City Police Department, which is now asking for public assistance in identifying the culprits. The incidents, all occurring within the vicinity of 147 Street and 37 Avenue, took place throughout May of this year.

On Wednesday, May 17, at 7:35 am, three unidentified individuals were reported to have removed a bicycle and other items from a residential parking garage. A few minutes later, at 7:39 am, the same individuals are believed to have taken electric bicycles from another garage.

On May 20, at 2:12 am, a trio reportedly stole a cellphone and a cellphone accessory from a lobby mail room of a residence. The most recent incident took place on Friday, May 26, at approximately 4:00 am, where a power washer, snow blower, and car skates were removed without permission from a parking garage.
