Republican leader Bramnick says “Christie for President” after former gov booed off stage

New Jersey Senator John Bramnick.

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey Republican leader John Bramnick said he’s supporting former Governor Chris Christie for President in 2024. He’s one of a few people supporting the former governor whose poll numbers are at the bottom of the barrel since he began a crusade of attacking Trump.

“Chris Christie for President – Because the Truth Matters. Let’s get Governor Christie on the debate stage,” Bramnick said after Christie was booed off stage at a religious gathering this week.

Christie, who attacked former President Donald J. Trump was heckled and booed by members of the Faith and Freedom Conference.

The former governor said getting booed was all part of the plan.

“I knew that’s what was going to happen…But I’m not changing my message and pandering to anybody…I wanted to tell them the truth, and the truth is [Trump] is not a man of character,” he said.

In the latest polls, Trump was polling at 58%. Ron DeSantis was at 21% and Christie was hovering slightly above 2%.
